After India’s forgettable stint with the 2021 T20 World Cup, veteran Indian player Rahul Dravid was appointed as the head coach for a tenure of two years. He had a rollercoaster ride in his tenure with a few ups and downs. India which entered the World Cup as a hot favorite fell short of the win.

The two-year tenure is said to have ended and this started a debate on what would happen next. If the reports are to be believed, a former Telugu player might replace him as Rahul Dravid is not showing any interest in extending his tenure.

With Rahul Dravid reportedly not having interest in extending his stint as the head coach his former teammate VVS Laxman might replace him. Once everything falls in place we might hear about this formally with an official announcement.

NCA Head VVS Laxman was picked as the head coach for the T20 series against Australia. Now he is expected to replace Rahul Dravid as the head coach of the team. While there is no official word a few media houses are saying the same.

Rahul Dravid who was with the NCA was made the coach to replace Ravi Shastri. Now it is said that VVS Laxman might replace Rahul Dravid and he might go back to the NCA to resume the work he stopped.

Rahul Dravid had a good stint at NCA training the youngsters. Players groomed by him shined big in various tournaments and even made it to the Indian national team.

Rahul Dravid took up the coaching responsibility with a lot of hopes But there were a few ups and downs. India lost the World Cup final in India and lost the Semi-Finals to England in the T20 World Cup. India showed complete dominance in the Asia Cup and lifted the trophy. India reached the top position across platforms under Dravid’s tenure.
