Allies Were Appeased: Rahul Gandhi Reviews Union Budget!

Rahul Gandhi went through a big image transformation over the years and we are seeing a new Rahul Gandhi. The way he questioned Narendra Modi on various issues in the Parliament House is a big example of this. He is making it tough for the Union Government in the house is what many say.

The Union Government announced the Union Budget which marks the first budget in Narendra Modi’s third term. Rahul Gandhi reacted to the budget and alleged that the Congress Manifesto and previous budgets were copy pasted.

Rahul Gandhi dubbed the budget as Kursi Bachao as the allies were appeased at the cost of other states and the cronies were appeased in the budget. Taking to social media he slammed the budget.

It is known that Andhra Pradesh and Bihar got a good allocation of funds in the Union Budget. While AP was given Rs 15000 cr for Amaravati the Union government said that required help would be given to the state. On the other hand, Rs 26,000 cr was allocated for Bihar for various projects.

Other states could not get the allocations. Telangana drew a big blank and so allocations were made. We have seen people like KTR questioning over the budget framing as the state was not given anything.

It's the turn of Rahul Gandhi to question this. He said that the allies of the NDA were appeased at the cost of others and Cronies were appeased. He indirectly took the names of Ambani and Adani is what the experts say.

“Kursi Bachao” Budget.- Appease Allies: Hollow promises to them at the cost of other states.- Appease Cronies: Benefits to AA with no relief for the common Indian. - Copy and Paste: Congress manifesto and previous budgets,” Rahul Gandhi said.

However, a section of people on social media are saying that there are instances where Congress preferred a few states over others in allocating funds, new trains, and institutions.
