Controversial Case: What Happened To Dr Priyanka?

One of the more controversial cases with regard to the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana unfolded in the form of the accident that happened to Dr Priyanka in Rajahmundry earlier.

Priyanka, a 28-year-old Postgraduate student at GSL Medical College, was declared brain-dead after being run over by an alleged intoxicated driver outside Prasaditya Mall on AV Road in Rajahmundry on August 3, 2026.

This incident immediately grabbed the negative attention of the public has people who watched the videos felt that there was a fraud angle behind the same.

Two intoxicated youths got into an argument with mall security, drove recklessly, and rammed their car into her scooter from behind, running the vehicle over her head. She was declared brain dead after this incident.

She was initially treated locally before being shifted to Hyderabad for advanced emergency and ventilator care, where she was pronounced brain-dead. Now the latest news is that she has sadly passed away while being treated at a private hospital in Secunderabad.

There is the desperate outcry from the public for immediate justice and people are commenting that Priyanka had a whole future ahead of her, but she is now sadly, no longer with us due to the reckless activity of a couple of reckless men.
