An Alternative To Settle Rajahmundry Rural Seat Confusion?

The hard work and the brainstorming TDP and Janasena have been doing for the past few weeks resulted in a slight clarity. The picture is almost clear on the seats. The Telugu Desam Party would get the major share of seats while the Janasena was allocated just 24 seats.

Though we almost got a clear picture, we are yet to get clarity on the seats where there is a tough fight. There are a few seats where both TDP and Janasena are adamant about getting the seat. Both parties carefully put the seats aside as a safety measure.

Rajahmundry Rural Assembly constituency is one such seat. Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary, the sitting MLA is very strong there having won the consecutive elections. He is very confident of the ticket. He has been saying that he will get the ticket this time too.

From the Janasena party, Kandula Durgesh is in the race. He also wants the ticket from there. It is no wonder in saying there is a tough fight for the seat in the constituency. Janasena cadre is active there.

If one of them is given the ticket then the other aspirant would feel bad. There is also a chance of the other one to either leave the party or not support the candidate. Any possibility would be a death blow for the alliance. Now it is said that an alternative was searched for this dispute.

The media reports say that if both the strong candidates held on to the seat showing no sign of taking a back step, then one of them would be shifted to another. It is confirmed that one of them would get the rural seat for sure. While one of them would be given a ticket the second one might be shifted to another seat.
