BJP's Third Surprise: Picks Brahmin MLA As Rajasthan CM!

The Bharatiya Janata Party which is adamant about winning the upcoming Lok Sabha elections had hit the ball out of the park in the recent general elections by winning three states. The party won the elections in the three states and saw a big jump in the vote percentage in Telangana.

Having won the three states, the BJP is on a spree of making sensational decisions and picking leaders who are not in the race as Chief Minister of the concerned states. Even the political observers and critics were shocked by the decisions the party leadership is taking.

Following the same, the BJP took an unexpected decision in picking the Rajasthan Chief Minister. First-time MLA Bhajanlal Sharma was selected as the Chief Minister of one of the culturally rich states in the country.

Earlier it was reported that heavyweights like two-time CM Vasundhara Raje, Union ministers Arjun Ram Meghwal, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Ashwini Vaishnaw are in the race for the Chief Minister. But the legislature party meeting came up with an unusual decision and Sharma is picked.

It is said that Bhajanlal Sharma shares good ties with Narendra Modi and this might have played a key role in him getting the plum post. He is currently serving as the party state general secretary.

No one would have predicted that Bhajanlal Sharma would get picked as the Chief Minister including himself. But luck favoured him and he was selected for the big post.

A similar thing happened in Madhya Pradesh. The BJP leadership picked Mohan Yadav over four-time CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan aka Mama. The party earlier picked Vishnu Deo Sai as the Chief Minister face making him the first tribal Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.
