Rajini Hurt By Vijay's Win? Why He Met Stalin?

Superstar Rajinikanth is one of the biggest names in Indian cinema and, particularly so in Tamil cinema. He moved away from his political aspirations earlier and is no longer an active participant in Tamil Nadu politics.

However, the series of events after the recent Tamil Nadu assembly election, where Thalapathi Vijay created history by becoming the chief minister, there have been several detrimental reports on Rajinikanth.

The fact that Rajinikanth met with Stalin, who is the farmer chief minister while categorically avoiding meeting the new chief minister, Vijay led to several theories.

It appears to be that Rajinikanth is hurt by all these social media theories and narratives that are in circulation as he reacted strongly to the same in front of the Media today.

I am holding this press meet because many criticisms are being made about me in connection with the election. If I do not respond to them, they will become accepted as the truth. After the election results, I went and met MK Stalin, and that became a subject of criticism.

Our friendship is beyond politics. I felt saddened that MK Stalin was defeated in Kulathur. Rajini is not a cheap or low-standard person to speak unnecessarily about anything else. As soon as the Chief Minister won, I conveyed my congratulations to him immediately, Rajini said.

It is evident that Rajinikanth is not jealous of the electoral result of Vijay, and he is naturally subject to have his own opinion and selected favourites in politics or any other field for that matter.
