Ram Mandir Fever: Royal Family Scions Claim Relation To Deity!

Temple city Ayodhya is getting all the attention from various corners. The Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration fever had gripped not only the country but outside as well. Other nations are also celebrating the big occasion, Bhajans were also held in countries like the United Kingdom.

In the wake of the big occasion, we are seeing people claiming themselves as the descendants of Lord Ram. People making these claims are not common people and they are family members of big royal families.

The Mewar dynasty has a big legacy in the country as the rulers ruled a few regions in the country in the medieval period. Their legacy was continued further as the family members were in the political arena.

As per the media reports, Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, son of Maharaja Arvind Singh Mewar reportedly said they are descendants of Lord Rama as his father is the descendent of the deity. Talking about his father's link to the deity Lakshyaraj said that they are close to the dynasty. He said that they are descendants of Lava, Rama's elder son.

Jaipur Princess Diya Kumari who is serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan also claimed that she is the descendent of Lord Rama. She said that they are related to Kusha, the younger son of Rama's son and they are the descendants of Lord Rama.

However, this is not the first time she has come up with such claims. Earlier too she said that they are the descendants of Lord Rama. As everyone is talking about the temple the royal family scions made these claims.
