Rashmika Finds This Scary & Asks For Urgency!

The deepfake video of Rashmika Mandanna which was released on social media has become a huge talking point. It showed us the negative side of AI technology and how it needs to be controlled. A lot of people on the internet that people who did that video should be legally punished and it included Amitabh Bachchan too.

Now, Rashmika herself took to social media and gave her opinion. She said, “I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online. Something like this is honestly, extremely scary not only for me, but also for each one of us who today is vulnerable to so much harm because of how technology is being misused.”

She added, “Today, as a woman and as an actor, I am thankful for my family, friends and well wishers who are my protection and support syster. But if this happened to me when I was in school or college, I genuinely can’t imagine how could I even tackle this. We need to address this as a community and with urgency before more of us are affected by such identity theft.”

Not just Rashmika but these deepfake videos of other actresses too all over the social media. Showcasing them in such a vulgar manner is not at all acceptable. Also, we are seeing a lot of posters, and false news being spread through this AI technology which is leading people to believe them. The government should take legal action on this as they many more people will fall victim to this in the coming days.
