Fake Narrative Against India: What Did Trump Data Say?

By: Tupaki Desk | 5 Jan 2026 12:01 PM ISTOver the last few years, there has been a standing narrative and template that is being built against the Indian community in the United States. There is this growing narrative about how the Indian community is misusing the United States resources.
It has reached a point where many United States natives are also believing that Indians are looting the economy and are grabbing the incentives provided by the government as well. But the latest data reduced by United States president, Trump itself confirms that Indians are not even on the list of countries that are using the assistance programs of the United States administration.
All countries like Somalia, Bhutan, Yemen and others are largely dependent on the United States assistance programmes, India is not even on the list. This is a clear contradiction of the fact that a strong narrative has been built against Indians about the United States resources.
For the past few years, we’ve seen a relentless, coordinated attack on one of the most successful immigrant groups in the United States: Indian Americans. The racism, scapegoating, and open hostility toward Indians has been wildly disproportionate to reality and in many cases amplified by foreign-funded influence operations primarily from Qatar-linked networks ( allegedly )that benefit from division inside the U.S.
Here’s the reality check no one wants to talk about. Indian immigrants are not even on the list of major welfare recipients. They are among the lowest recipients in the country.
