Demand For Resorts Likely To Go Up In Neighbouring States?

In a news to cheer about, the exit poll surveys are in favour of the Congress party as the majority of them predict Congress coming to power. On average the surveys say the Congress party might be winning over 60 seats and the state might see a power shift.

When such is the picture in the state any party will be high on happiness and the party cadres will break into celebrations. But the Congress party is going through a different situation and the leadership is said to be worried.

If the media reports are to be believed the political observers raise a doubt on whether Resorts will be high on demand to keep the winning candidates there to see that no poaching attempts were made at them. When a hung happens anything can happen and the Congress is said to be fearing it.

In states like Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and others we have seen Congress leaders shifting their loyalties to other parties. As a result, the power changed in these states. When the other parties fell short of the magic figures by a few legislators the Congress leaders were attracted by others.

The Bharatiya Janata Party which is in power at the Centre gave a death blow to Congress in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. If the Congress party had protected the MLAs the situation would have been different.

A similar thing happened in Maharashtra. The Maha Vikas Aghadi government involving Shiv Sena, Congress, and NCP had to lose power. Shiv Sena rebel MLA Eknath Shinde joined hands with the BJP along with his camp members and became the Chief Minister.

It looks like the Congress party is going to go through a big test of safeguarding the MLAs from getting shifted to other sides for any freebies. For this, the Congress party is said to be in plans to book. With this, many say that the farmhouses can be high on demand.

If hung happens parties would explore options and safeguarding their MLAs is the main concern for the party. Congress might move their MLAs to neighbouring Karnataka where it is in power. Earlier Karnataka MLAs were brought to Hyderabad as a safety measure. Hung in Telangana will result in demand for resorts in neighboring states.
