As we had reported earlier today, the Telangana assembly session primarily revolved around the land pockets, won by KCR and KTR in Telangana. This was the primary point of discussion in the assembly today, and the discussion was primarily carried out by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy himself.

Incidentally, the chief minister spoke very elaborately about the kind of land acquisition that has happened under the KCR time which resulted in his family gaining significant land portions across Telangana.

Revanth Reddy went to reveal the actual numbers associated with this land acquisition, and he made it very clear that the KCR family has more than 400 acres of land in Telangana alone.

KTR family:

KTR: 49.5 acres

Shailima: 17.5 acres

Alekhya: 9.38 acres

Himanshu Rao: 46.3523 acres

Total claimed: 123.19 acres

Harish Rao family:

Harish Rao: around 21 acres

Wife Srinitha: around 8.5 acres

Total: around 30.5 acres

Kavitha family:

K. Kavitha: around 14 acres

Husband D.R. Anil Kumar: around 23 acres

Total claimed: around 37.26 acres

According to the allegations that were made by certain Congress leaders and the numbers presented by Revanth Reddy himself in the assembly today, KCR family has around 400 acres of land in Telangana.

Apparently, this was primarily accumulated during the Telangana separatist movement that happened before 2014. This was a pretty wild allegation that was made by the chief minister in the assembly today as he revealed the actual details associated with regard to the land owned by the KCR family.

Revanth Reddy went to say that this is well beyond the permitted, agricultural land limit of 27 acres per family as he said KCR family will face investigation from authorities immediately.

The chief minister said the excess land that is owned by KCR family will be taken away and distributed to housing programme projects across the state.
