By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Oct 2026 4:17 PM ISTThe Congress party has started a strong movement against the chief election commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar. There is a lot of political activity happening on this front and then we have the case of cockroach janta party, which is also protesting.
Now it is the return of Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy to maintain his presence at this protest today as he arrived in Delhi along with his cabinet ministers.
The Congress party from across India, including the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana went to Delhi today to participate in the protest against the election commission chief.
Several slogans were raised against the election commissioner as the Congress party is evidently demanding the immediate resignation of this individual. This has created a very interesting atmosphere in Delhi, and the repercussions are going to be felt at the political level.
The active participation of the Telangana Congress has now come up with the proposition that Andhra Pradesh Congress, which is represented by Sharmila must also start the movement.
Even Sharmila has called for the Andhra Pradesh Congress leaders to arrive in Delhi, and it should be a matter of time before this mobilisation happens as well.
It is evident that the Congress party is going out in the fight against the election commission, chief, and this is going to be a long battle now.
