In the intensely fought battle, the Congress party came to power in Telangana. Firebrand leader Revanth Reddy was made the Chief Minister of the state. It's been around six months since Revanth Reddy became the CM. He scripted history by becoming the second Chief Minister of Telangana.

In a couple of weeks, we will get the Lok Sabha polls which marks the first big test of Revanth. Lok Sabha polls are the first major polls Congress faced after he became the CM. A few surveys hint that Congress might win a good number of seats in the polls.

Amid this, a piece of sensational news is doing rounds which say that we might see the Cabinet Expansion of Revanth government. If everything goes well we might see the expansion in August.

As per the media reports Revanth Reddy’s cabinet might be fully expanded by the 15th of August. After the results are announced the Cabinet might be expanded and the Chief Minister would have a full team.

A few leaders are said to be in the race for the Cabinet posts. Besides them, one or two leaders from BRS who joined the Congress might also get a chance to be the Cabinet Ministers.

If we have to take anything from the reports, then the likes of Raj Gopal Reddy, G. Vivek, Premsagar Rao, Balu Naik,v. Srihari and others are in the race for the Cabinet berths. After taking some of them the cabinet would be expanded.

The Congress faced a flood of leaders who joined the BRS party. They have to be accommodated with some or the other post. As everyone cannot be given the berths one or two of them might get the berths. It would be interesting to see who would be lucky to get the Cabinet berths in Revanth Reddy’s cabinet.

Revanth Reddy took oath as the Chief Minister along with a few Cabinet Ministers. A few Ministries were not allocated and are vacant. The party leadership is said to be working on expanding the cabinet and taking more Cabinet members.
