Who Can Take Forward Revanth Reddy's Legacy As TPCC Chief?

It was a game changing decision by the AICC to appoint firebrand leader Revanth Reddy as the TPCC chief. In three years, Revanth Reddy proved his capabilities. Under his leadership Congress came to power in Telangana making him the second CM in the divided state.

It's been a few months since he became the Chief Minister of the state. He faced another big challenge in the form of the Lok Sabha elections and the results would be out on the fourth of June.

Now the Congress high command is said to be working on the replacement of Revanth Reddy as the TPCC chief. Observers say that Congress always has Chief Ministers and state Chiefs separately.

Revanth Reddy's case was different. There were a few names in consideration earlier. But Revanth Reddy was picked. As there was no time for announcing a new TPCC chief, he held both posts.

It is being reported that Congress high command wants to appoint a new TPCC chief who can replace Revanth so that he can completely focus on governance. This started a debate on who can fit into Revanth’s shoes as the state chief.

It is said that a few names are in the race for the post. It would be interesting to see who can take forward Revanth Reddy's legacy as the state chief of Congress.

The likes of Jagga Reddy,Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka,Madhu Yashki, Addanki Dayakar and Anjan Kumar are said to be in the race.

This can be seen as a tough task for the leadership as seniors from various communities have their eyes on TPCC chief post reportedly.

Earlier Mallu was said to be in the CM race but Revanth was picked. So he might have an edge. However others in the list also have aspects which are in their favour.
