Hyderabad Would Become Union Territory? Revanth Responds!

Andhra Pradesh which was formed on the basis of language was split into two. Telangana was bifurcated from the combined state in 2014. In a few weeks, the bifurcation would complete ten years. The long demand of Telangana state was fulfilled on June 2, 2014. This makes Telangana, the youngest state in India.

Even after the state bifurcation, we see leaders making sensational comments and two states having issues. Earlier we saw a big showdown as the Police personnel reached the Nagarjuna Sagar dam. Andhra Pradesh Cops Clashed With Telangana Cops and fencing was also set up.

Of late a narrative is doing rounds which say that Hyderabad might be made into Union Territory. Tier 1 leaders in BRS which was in power for two terms are making these comments grabbing everyone’s attention. Even Cabinet Ministers made these comments. These comments are getting attention as Andhra Pradesh election results will be announced soon.

Now Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made sensational comments. The firebrand leader said that it is not possible to make Hyderabad into a UT. He even asked who would accept the proposal.

Revanth Reddy expressed his dissatisfaction with such opinions. He said that nothing sort of it would happen as no one would extend their support and urged everyone to not believe such irrelevant comments.

Adding further the Chief Minister said that they would come to power at the Centre and there is no need to have fears about Hyderabad becoming Union Territory.
