RGV Files Complaint With DGP On Bounty Threat!

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV is a sensation. Whatever he does turns out to be a sensation, be it what he speaks or the content he creates. Picking controversial subjects is not new to the director. His political films always kickstarts a sensation.

The same is the case with his upcoming film Vyuham. The upcoming film is creating a lot of sensation due to various reasons. The political thriller is struck in a dilemma as there is no clarity on the release. The opposition TDP moved the Court seeking the cancelation of the certificate the movie was granted.

Protests erupted outside Ram Gopal Varma’s office against the upcoming film. Keeping the flame in the case burning we are seeing an intense war of words. Adding fuel to the issue, a person announced a bounty on the director’s head.

Amaravati Parirakshana Samithi Joint Action Committee leader Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao increased the political heat by announcing a bounty on RGV’s head. In a TV debate, he said that he would offer Rs 1 crore to whoever gets the director’s head.

“If someone brings Ram Gopal Varma’s head, I will pay him one crore rupees,” Srinivasa Rao said on a debate. He did not even stop despite the anchor asking him to slow down and take his words back.

As the activist Kolikapudi Sreenivasa Rao announced the bounty on his head, Ram Gopal Varma filed a police complaint. Sharing the video clip, RGV requested the Police department to consider the tweet as the official complaint.

Now the director met the AP DGP to formally file a complaint. He was accompanied by Dasari Kiran Kumar, producer of Vyuham when he filed a case. In the complaint, RGV said that he had a threat and urged the DGP to take the required action in the case.
