The 2024 Lok Sabha elections will remain special for a very long time. We have seen a lot of things that no one would have predicted. The elections caught the attention of the world too. There are a few richest candidates in the race who got everyone’s attention.

The Lok Sabha elections are proving to be special even after the results. BJP which said it would win 400 seats fell short of magic figure. Congress and the INDIA alliance which were not in the scene earlier put up a memorable win and almost reached NDA’s performance.

Talking about the richest candidates who contested the Lok Sabha polls, four of them were successful in recording a big win. Interestingly, three of them are from the Telugu land. Let us have a look at them.

Pemmasani Chandrasekhar: The TDP leader was given the Guntur MP seat in the wake of Galla Jaydev’s decision to take a break from politics. He became a sensation with his wealth of Rs 5,705 Cr. Doctor by profession Pemmasani won the elections with a massive majority of 3,44,695 votes.


Konda Vishweshwar Reddy: Another Telugu leader on the list. The BJP leader won the Chevella seat with over 1.72 lakh votes. His fortune is Rs 4,568 Cr. He is not like any other leader. He is an IT entrepreneur and has a few patents.


Naveen Jindal: He hails from one of the biggest industrialist families. His net worth is Rs 1,230 Cr. The BJP leader contested from the Kurukshetra seat in Haryana. The Jindal Steel Chairman faced a tough fight in the seat. The winning margin is that big. While Jindal attracted 5,42,175 votes, his close opponent Sushil Gupta got 5,13,154 votes. The difference in vote percentage is less than 3 percent.


Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy: The TDP leader who has Rs 716 cr to his name recorded a big win from the Nellore seat. TDP had hit it out of the park in the Nellore region and Reddy won the seat with 2,459,02 votes.
