Even the Prime Minister Was Affected By Racism In Childhood?

The world is evolving fast and we are seeing many advancements. But one thing is not stopping, which is racism. It is present around us in various forms. To give an example of this, even a few popular personalities could not escape it and became the prey of the ugly trend.

Now the world was surprised to know that even a Prime Minister was not safe. He walked down memory lane and recalled how racism affected him in childhood. His parents were worried about him and the accent with which he speaks.

Indian-origin Rishi Sunak who is the serving Prime Minister of the United Kingdom made the shocking revelation. Speaking to an outlet he reportedly said that he was affected by racism in his childhood.

Saying that he was affected by racism in his childhood, Rishi Sunak also said that his siblings were also affected as racist slurs were directed at them. My younger brother and sister were also targeted with slurs and attacks. Having said that, Rishi Sunak observed racism is not acceptable in any manner.

The UK Prime Minister also said that his parents were worried about their accent and that they even wanted to send him to extra drama classes to get the accent right so that he could fit it.

The comments came from an Indian-Origin leader who is serving as the Prime Minister of one of the biggest countries in the world. Rishi Sunak was elected as the Prime Minister by the members of the House to lead the nation which is dealing with some issues.
