The ruling YSRCP is busy picking candidates for the upcoming elections. As the party wants to win the elections for sure the leadership is not shying away from taking tough decisions. Leaders are also shifted to other places from their existing seats.

For a few days, a piece of news has been spreading like wildfire which says that Kodali Nani might not be given a ticket this time. It was reported that Mandala Hanumantha Rao would get the ticket. Even flexes were erected which became the talk of the town.

Debates were held on why Kodali Nani would be ignored in giving tickets for the elections. Amid this, the issue took a big turn with Hanumantha Rao holding a press meet. Kodali Nani was also present at the press meet.

In the press meet Hanumantha Rao said that for the past few days a news has been circulating on social media and electronic media about him being in the race for the MLA ticket. He said that there is no truth behind this.

He also rubbished the rumours of having issues with MLA Kodali Nani. Talking about his absence in the party activities he said that he is busy with his business. Rao also said that he is a loyalist of YSR and he will not cross the party line whatsoever.

Many say that this can be the big clarity on the ticket rumours to Kodali Nani. With Rao saying that he is not in the race for the MLA ticket and he has no issues with the MLA, it is clear that Kodali Nani might get the ticket unless the party goes for another leader.

Nani made Gudivada his strong zone by winning consecutive elections. Even if the YCP fields a new candidate there is no assurance of his or her win. So the party might go with Kodali Nani in granting the ticket as per the current situation, say the observers.
