The result of the recent Telangana elections is nothing short of any sensation. We have seen some sensations in the episode. A few senior leaders and Cabinet Ministers tasted defeat and newcomers awarded a defeat to the senior leaders. As an example of this, a 26-year-old girl defeated a senior Cabinet Minister.

Out of all the sensations we witnessed in the elections one thing stands tall which involves Mynampally Hanumanth Rao. He took a tough call and came out of the party for his son. But the decision took a different end. His son won the elections and he lost the elections.

Ahead of the elections, Mynampally Hanumanth Rao created a sensation as he openly made big statements against Harish Rao. He sought an MLA ticket for his son to take forward his legacy.

However, the BRS did not accept his request. While saying no to his demand the BRS gave him the ticket for the Malkajgiri seat. However, this did not go well with Mynampally Hanumanth Rao and he came out of the party and joined the Congress party. He was successful in getting a ticket for him and his son.

While Mynampally Hanumanth Rao lost the elections his son emerged victorious. Mynampally Rohith Rao who is 26 emerged as one of the youngest MLAs in the state. Hanumanth Rao who was successful in the case of his son was unsuccessful in his own case.

As it was the maiden election for his son, Mynampally Hanumanth Rao had put in all the efforts in the campaign and focused more on his son’s campaign than his campaign. The Congress wave also played its role in this.

In the end, Mynampally Hanumanth Rao saw his son winning the elections and lost the elections in his seat. Malla Reddy’s son-in-law who was given the ticket as he left the party emerged victorious.
