Sajjala Slams TDP’s Celebrations Over Chandrababu’s Bail!

The moment that the Telugu Desam Party leaders and supporters wanted to see had arrived finally. Though it is a slight relief, Chandrababu Naidu was finally allowed to walk out of the Rajahmundry Central Jail for a brief period. Earlier today, the High Court granted interim bail for Chandrababu Naidu.

On the health grounds, he was given four weeks interim bail. However, a few conditions were also announced by the High Court that should be followed by Chandrababu Naidu during his outing.

The TDP burst into celebrations straight after he was given bail. The TDP supporters and cadre celebrated the development in a big way. It is said that in some places sweets were distributed in a bid to express their happiness over this.

However, the advisor to the Andhra Pradesh government Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy did not like the celebrations and ripped into it. He asked what’s the point in celebrating the news as if he was given a complete bail in the case. He even asked if interim bail is seen as a victory in the case.

Speaking to the media Sajjala said that the bail was given on health grounds and not on the case merits. He said that the case merits were not even discussed and there is no need for these celebrations.

He went on to say that Chandrababu Naidu should go back to prison after the bail tenure ends and he was given bail only for the treatment.

Adding further, Sajjala asked if getting an interim bail is the victory of truth. Slamming those who are celebrating the development, he asked what is the need for such celebrations when there is no need for it.
