Pic Talk: Sajjanar Is the New Commissioner Of Hyderabad!

The news is official now. Hyderabad police have found a new commissioner in the form of Sajjanar, who had earlier held several consequential positions in the policing department.

In a picture that is now going very on social media, we get to see this iconic police officer returning as the Commissioner of Hyderabad city Police.

“I have officially assumed responsibilities as the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad today. We will continue to focus on maintaining peace and security across the city, striving to serve the community with effectiveness and integrity.” The statement from the commissioner read.

Sajjanar is an iconic police officer and he is famous for the encounter in the Disha rape and murder case, which had created a sensation back in the day. This was his name out of proportion, and he became one of the iconic police officers in Telangana.

Now after serving as the managing director of Telangana RTC for four years, Sajjanar is back in the policing mix now. It has to be seen what kind of reformative changes he would bring in Hyderabad policing as he is the new Commissioner of city Police.

He had already made it very clear that he will look to deliver public friendly governance and policing with integrity and discipline.
