Now a big personality came forward to pledge to donate his wealth. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said that he will donate the majority of the wealth to philanthropy. His partner also supported the call by grabbing everyone’s attention.
Sam Altman and his partner Oliver Mulherin announced their willingness for the donation. They said that they are committed to doing their part for society and they will work hard for the development of society with technology too.
It is known that rich people come forward to donate a portion of their savings and wealth to society. It is a trend that rich people announce donations to play a part in helping others.
It is a joint hard work of Bill Gates, Melinda French Gates, and Warren Buffett to come up with the Giving Pledge which urges the rich people to announce donations for philanthropy and others' works. It's been over a decade since this was started.
