Former MP Kavitha, the daughter of former CM KCR is a popular name in the Telugu states. She shot to super fame by taking the Bathukamma festival to places. Under the Jagruthi she has been holding the Bathukamma celebrations for some years.

Now the MLC hit the headlines with her political stand. The former MP surprised one and all by voicing her opinion in support of Sanatana Dharma. She even asked the Congress and Rahul Gandhi to prove his stand on this.

She said that a few leaders are attacking peoples religious sentiments for short fame and asked Rahul Gandhi's stand on this. Having said that she asked what is stand of Rahul Gandhi on Sanatana Dharma.

"Some leaders these days choose to attack on religious sentiments of the people for their 2 mins of fame! I want to ask Mr. Election Gandhi his stand on the issue of Sanatan Dharma - why has he not given any statement on this as yet?," she said on X.

Kavitha mentioned the instances where Sanatana Dharma was insulted and Hindi-speaking states were insulted and asked why Rahul Gandhi was silent on the issue. She also said that had Rahul Gandhi responded to this, it would have been different. She even asked Rahul Gandhi to prove that he is not disrespecting Hindus and Sanatana Dharma.

Surprisingly this is not the first time she spoke in support of the Sanatana Dharma. Recently she came in support of the Ram Mandir and said that it is a Dream come true for Hindus in the temple city with the construction.

BRS has been maintaining the secular stand. While KCR is a strong believer in God and held special poojas many times he did not target anyone or party for their stand. But Kavitha surprised one and all by taking the Hindutva side which was not expected.
