The kind of problematic stand that the United States administration has taken on the immigration population is becoming a topic of discussion. This is now spearheaded by a latest comment from United States president, Donald Trump.

A day after US President Donald Trump voiced support for the H-1B visa programme, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that the administration’s broader vision is to temporarily bring in skilled foreign workers to train Americans, before returning to their home countries.

He confidently revealed that the international working population will have to come to the United States only to train the domestic working population and then leave to their home country.

He sounded very detrimental about the fact that international talent Pool must come to the United States only to train the domestic population rather than find working opportunities here.

Scott Bessent confirmed this on Fox News yesterday, stating the proposed $2,000 tariff rebate would go to families making less than around $100,000 a year, as part of offsetting tariff revenues for lower-income households. Details are still being finalized, but that's his direct quote from the interview.
