Rushikonda Palace Issue: YS Sharmila Places Her Demand!

Undoubtedly, the Rushikonda Palace issue is a burning topic in the country. The building has created a big sensation not just in the state but outside too. Popular national media houses held debates on this on whether the public funds were misused. A few hundred crores were reportedly spent on the lavish Palace.

We are seeing a big fight between TDP and YCP on this. Amid this Jagan’s sister YS Sharmila, the chief of the Andhra Pradesh wing of Congress came into the picture and made sensational comments.

Sharmila went on to demand an inquiry into the issue with a sitting judge. The Congress leader said that the money spent on the building is public money and such an expenditure cannot be appreciated. Sharmila said misuse of public money cannot be accepted.

With this Sharmila made her stand clear. She joined the list of people who want a probe into the matter to look into the alleged misuse of funds and massive expenditure that went into the palace. While others are just targeting the YCP on the issue, Sharmila took a step ahead and demanded a probe with a sitting judge.

On the other hand, YS Sharmila also gave her thoughts on the much-talked-about YS Vivekananda Reddy. It is said that Sharmila expressed her confidence in the case, seeing a good pace in the investigation with the change in government.

Talking about her defeat in the elections, Sharmila said that people were frightened as YCP was in power and the MP seat was a sitting seat. She even said that people were scared of losing schemes and faced attacks. On top of this money was spent largely, Sharmila added.
