No Relief To Jagan: Sharmila Targets Him On YSR Jayanthi!

YCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy might have not predicted that one day he would have to face the crisis he is dealing with right now. In the last elections, his party won 151 seats pushing the grand old TDP into a big crisis. It's the turn of the YCP to face the situation. The alliance had hit it out of the park and won 164 seats.

YCP did not even have the opposition party status. The situation is such that there is no noise about the party and firebrand leaders like Roja, Kodali Nani and others who were quite active in the last term became silent. There is no clarity on whether Jagan would attend the Assembly sessions or not with just 11 MLAs in hand.

It looks like there is no relief for Jagan. His sister Sharmila who is the AP Congress chief has been targeting him for some time. Going by the same she launched a fresh attack against her brother. Sharmila came down severely on Jagan over the YSR Jayanthi.

Sharmila asked how YSR Jayanthi is held. She said that Jagan went to Idupulapaya and concluded the occasion in a few minutes. He is your father and is this how you celebrate his 75th Anniversary she asked.

She compared the way YSR’s Jayanthis was held to that of Siddam meetings. Sharmila said that big hoardings were held and Rs 30 to 40 cr were spent for the meetings. But why even a meeting was not held for YSR? Forget about celebrating YSR Jayanthi, the YCP leaders could not come together to pay tributes.

Sharmila said that they celebrated the Jayanthi in a big way. A big meeting was held and we brought the Chief Minister and other leaders from the neighboring state. Are you the heir of YSR, she asked.
