Shocking Reason Behind Air India Flights Cancellation!

It is the flag carrier airline of India which enjoys a big share in air traffic. It runs flights to more than 100 destinations. Despite this, the airline company suffered a big shock as over 70 flights were canceled. The reason behind this is a big shock and we might have not heard about it earlier.

It is common for airlines to cancel flights when employees or staff call for a strike. But the flight service cancellation had nothing to do with the strike and the leaves taken by the staff led to the cancellation of the services.

As per the media reports, Air India had to cancel over 70 flights with the cabin crew members taking sick leave. It is said that they went for mass leaves. As the crew took the leaves at the last moment there was no other option except for canceling the flights.

Reports say that for the past 12 hours, the airline has been facing the issue. Crew taking sick leaves in big numbers is a big shock. With this, the management is said to be looking into the issue to see what happened.

Besides the airline company, passengers who booked tickets also faced issues with the sudden cancellation. It is said that the company reached out to the passengers saying that their travel would be changed or else the money would be refunded.

It has to be mentioned here that Vistara airline also faced sudden cancellations recently. However, the reason for this was different as the pilots were protesting.
