Now Shubman Gill added another feather to his illustrious cap as he was presented with the Cricketer of the Year award. He was presented the award at an award function.
Hyderabad became the venue for the BCCI Awards 2024 ceremony with the cricket stars gracing the ceremony. In the presence of the stars, Gill was announced as the Polly Umrigar Award for the year 2022-23.
The young star was presented with the prestigious award which is a parameter for his excellence in the game. For the past few years, he has been consistent in putting up a good show across the formats. Not just at home he is doing well outside India too.
His efforts resulted in the young player getting the prestigious Polly Umrigar Award for the year 2022-23 as he is presented with the Best International Cricketer - Men award. BCCI officially announced the news on social media.
