It is already known that the ongoing students protest in Delhi is progressing on a very good note as the government of India has also opened dialogue with the representatives of the agitation.

However, there is something detrimental that is happening with regard to this protest now, and it has something to do with the social media culture that is slowly catching up.

There is one particular video that was done by a Telugu individual who had gone to Delhi from Hyderabad and he communicated that many people are coming to Jantar Mantar just for social media fame.

He pointed out that people are coming to this area of protest to capture videos and images so that they can get social media following, and most of them are coming here for fun. He clearly pointed about that many people do not have a clue of why they are here and what is even happening, but they are here just to enjoy themselves and get social media attention.

This is a very wrong course of the narrative as this peaceful protest that is being carried out by the student community is for the greater good of the Indian youth, and it must be kept that way as well.

We are seeing several viral activities involving the police department and also the whole student protest culture in the first place, and this is not something that would be associated with a protest that has created such a big legacy.

As of now, students have been fighting very hard for the resignation of education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, and calling for Justice for the suicide victims of NEET paper leak. This is being dealt with an adequate manner by the government of India, and it should be kept that way.
