Somu Veerraju Expresses Interest In Contesting Elections!
He said he is in the race for the elections and will run in the upcoming elections.

As an example of this, the Congress party which was not in the race till a few months back bounced back and the reports are saying that a few leaders are in line to join the party.
Adding more interest to the political land space, former AP BJP Chief Somu Veerraju made some interesting comments. He said he is in the race for the elections and will run in the upcoming elections.
Talking about the elections, the senior BJP said that he will contest from any seat where the leadership wants him to. I am from Rajahmundry, but I am ready to contest from anywhere in the state. I will follow the directions of the party, he said.
It is known that reports are saying the BJP might join hands with TDP and Janasena for the alliance for the 2024 polls. The three parties might repeat the 2014-like scenes and go to elections together. Once things are settled the parties will focus on seat sharing.
If the alliance is formed the parties will not get to contest all the seats and there would be a big competition among the aspirants. Amid this, the leaders are coming out to express their interest in contesting the elections. Somu Veerraju’s comments are also seen as part of this.
Somu Veerraju who served as the AP BJP Chief for a few years was sacked from his position. The party leadership replaced him with former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswari. Veerraju was appointed as a member of the BJP national executive committee
