Horrifying: 9 Dead In Stampede At Kasibugga Temple!

The Hindu community has the highest regard for places of worship, and that is the reason why we generally see a lot of public turnout to temples and related outlets. In accordance with this, there are occasional fatalities that incur human loss.

Coming to the topic now, according to the latest reports, the famous Kasibugga Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Srikakulam has witnessed a massive footfall of around 25,000 people today.

But sadly, the crowds that were absolutely out of control led to a stampede situation at the temple, and this incident resulted in the death of as many as 9 individuals till now.

The visuals of the stampede situation at the temple are now going viral on social media, and they are grabbing all the attention right. It is horrifying to see such sad visuals of people getting stranded to death at the famous Kasibugga temple.

The government has directed the district administrative machinery to undertake relief measures. The government will support the affected families. An investigation will be conducted into this tragic incident that took place at this temple, which is managed by private individuals.

Reacting on this matter, Prime Minister Modi said “Pained by the stampede in Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. My thoughts are with those who have lost their near and dear ones. I pray that the injured recover soon.

An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of those who lost their lives. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000.”
