Official: SRH Gets Eliminated From IPL 2025

It is already known that Sunrisers Hyderabad, where one of the finalist in the previous season of the IPL and they came pretty close to winning the title again last year. This was one of the most dominating performances of the Hyderabad franchise in IPL and they made fans super proud with the same.

However, the performance of Hyderabad in the 2025 season has been a disaster to say the least as they have been inconsistent with their performances.

The most significant blow came in the form of the game against Delhi Capitals last night as this game got called off due to rains. The sad part here is that Hyderabad had managed to contain Delhi to a moderate score of 133 runs in the first innings and look to chase down the target and possibly kickstart a comeback in the tournament.

But the prevailing raining conditions in the middle meant that the game could not be resumed on time and had to be called off. Subsequently, both Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals were given one point each, which ultimately resulted in the elimination of Hyderabad from the tournament.

It is now officially confirmed that Hyderabad is not a part of the play off chances for the ongoing season of IPL and this will mark the end of the tournament for them at the league stage itself.

After a dominating and aggressive performance in the 2024 season, everyone expected great things from Hyderabad in 2025, but they did not even turn out to be remotely the case this year. It has to be seen if they will be able to bounce back in the coming season of the IPL.
