Gets Interim Bail: But CM Cannot Walk Out Of Jail!

It is known that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested and sent to jail in the Delhi Liquor scam. With this he became the first serving Chief Minister to get arrested in the country. In the latest charge sheet the ED said that Arvind Kejriwal is the key conspirator in the case.

The Chief Minister faced a big relief as he was granted an interim relief. The Supreme Court gave him interim bail in the case. Having given him the bail the bench referred Kejriwal's petition challenging his arrest to a larger bench.

Getting an interim bail did not give a total relief to the Chief Minister as he cannot walk out of the jail. If he has to walk out he should get bail in another case.

The Chief Minister was arrested by both ED and CBI. When he was in ED custody the CBI officials arrested him.

He had a half success in securing an interim bail in the ED arrest and he has one more to go. If he can get a bail in CBI case as well then he can walk out freely.

Earlier he was granted bail ahead of the elections. He campaigned for the party largely.However his party lost all the seven seats.

No matter what his AAP Party is welcoming the court verdict. Reacting to the bail his party said that the Chief Minister would walk out of the jail soon.

AAP has been alleging that the case is a politically fabricated one and the Chief Minister was arrested ahead of the elections. Earlier KCR’s daughter Kavitha was also arrested who is in the same Tihar jail.
