Koratala Siva is a name that needs no introduction. He is not just a top-tier director but also falls under the rare category of directors who write their own scripts. He worked with a few stars and scored big hits. He is busy with his first Pan-Indian film.

Now the star director is in the middle of trouble in connection with a plagiarism row. The Supreme Court did not give any relief to him and even said that the judgment of the lower court should be followed in the case.

Going into details, a writer named Sarath Chandra moved a local court saying that Srimanthudu's script was copied from his story that was published in a weekly. The local court heard the petition and said that criminal proceedings should be initiated.

With this, the director moved the High Court. However, the High Court did not give him any relief. As he could not get any relief, he then moved the Supreme Court. But he did not get any relief in the case no matter which court he moved.

The alleged plagiarism row around Srimanthudu is not new and it has been going on for a few years. At regular intervals, we have been hearing news about this. The case saw a big development as the Supreme Court did not give him any relief and issued directives to follow the orders of the sessions court. Now all eyes are on the court to see what it will say in the case.
