Now the star director is in the middle of trouble in connection with a plagiarism row. The Supreme Court did not give any relief to him and even said that the judgment of the lower court should be followed in the case.
Going into details, a writer named Sarath Chandra moved a local court saying that Srimanthudu's script was copied from his story that was published in a weekly. The local court heard the petition and said that criminal proceedings should be initiated.
With this, the director moved the High Court. However, the High Court did not give him any relief. As he could not get any relief, he then moved the Supreme Court. But he did not get any relief in the case no matter which court he moved.
