Surya Kumar Yadav aka SKY who earned the image of hitting the ball into any corner of the ground was given the opportunity to lead the side for the T20 series against the Australian side. Ahead of the series a press conference was held which had stunned everyone.

As per the media reports there was a poor response as only two journalists showed up that too from the news agencies PTI and ANI. It was an unpleasant experience for Surya Kumar Yadav as the first Press conference as skipper saw only two attendees.

When Surya Kumar Yadav started the press conference he might have been surprised to see just two journalists who asked him the questions they wanted to.

Reacting to fans say that the series has no interest among the fans as it was scheduled days after the World Cup defeat. They say who would have interest in bilateral series when the team lost the World Cup.

There is a point in what the fans are saying. India is the host of the tournament and played brilliantly throughout the tournament without a single loss. In the finals, the team could not reach the expectations and fell short of the victory.

India could not bank completely on home conditions in front of around one lakh fans the team failed to live up to the expectations.

When the fans were unable to come out of the world cup loss a T20 series was planned. Winning the series cannot compensate for the World Cup defeat and fans wonder what's the logic behind planning the series days after the tournament.

Star players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are not playing T20s after the T20 World Cup. All-rounder Hardik Pandya also lost his place in the team with his injury. In his absence Surya Kumar Yadav was given a chance. But his first press conference had a poor response from journalists.
