TDP-Janasena Alliance Is To Divert Skill Development Issue?By: Tupaki Desk | 15 Sep 2023 8:10 AM GMT
Telugu Desam Party is already dealing with a big crisis and making things worse for the opposition party, its chief Chandrababu Naidu was arrested over the allegations of his involvement in the AP Skill Development scam. The party could not even put up a proper fight when the chief was arrested.
There is a reason behind this. TDP is struggling with the absence of a leader in the wake of Chandrababu Naidu's arrest. When the TDP fans were worried about what would happen next, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan came up with a big twist and said Janasena and TDP would ally for the next polls.
However, Pawan Kalyan's reaction came as a surprise to one and all. Many ask, how Pawan Kalyan can do this when his fans and supporters want to see him grow as a leader. Janasena is already in alliance with the BJP. People wonder how Pawan Kalyan can talk about the alliance with TDP when his alliance with BJP is still intact.
Political observers often say Pawan Kalyan lacks credibility as he changes his stand regularly. The recent incident only joins the list. If Janasena wants to walk with TDP, then it would have to either leave the BJP or make the party say yes to TDP's alliance. Both seem like tough tasks.
Many wonder if the whole episode is an effort to divert the AP Skill Development. Till yesterday, people used to discuss what would happen next in the case and whether Chandrababu Naidu could get relief in the case or not. But Pawan Kalyan’s comments changed the course of the issue.
In the whole issue, Janasena cadre and activists would go through a tough time now. As of now, they carried Janasena flags on their shoulders. With the alliance announced they would have to now fight for TDP as well.
Supporters who supported Janasena over the years should now support TDP. Moreover, there is no clarity on the seat sharing and no one knows how many seats Janasena would get. Janasena aspirants who worked hard for the party had to sacrifice their seats. These factors create a negative image for the party and make Janasena weak.
