The wait is over. Telugu Desam Party and Janasena announced the first list of candidates. Out of all the 175 seats, only candidates for 118 seats were announced. The Telugu Desam Party got 94 seats and Janasena got 24 seats. Even in the MP seats the party was given just three seats.

As the two parties will contest together a common logo was also released. The buzz around the list was quite high before the announcement. But the same was not the situation after the list was announced.

A few party leaders and cadres were not happy with the list as they hoped for better seat allocation. They wonder how the party can be a part of the power when fewer seats are allocated.

While a few leaders are openly saying they are not happy, a few others are taking to social media to express their anger. Under the #TDPJSPCollapse hashtag, they are making posts and tweets. The hashtag is getting good attention on social media with a flood of tweets.

The main point they raise is that in the current situation, the vote transfer would not happen as Janasena was allocated fewer seats. The Janasena supporters are expressing their anger with the fewer seat allocation.

It is known that the main motto of the alliance is to see that the anti-government vote is not split and the votes are transferred. Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has been saying that vote transfer should happen for the alliance then only the alliance will get strong.

In the last elections, Janasena split votes in many seats, and had not Janasena contested the polls TDP would have had better chances as the winning margin was very thin. This tells us the importance of the vote transfer. But the new hashtag is raising new doubts about vote transfer.

Looking at the current picture it appears that the party cadre is not happy and a few leaders are on the same path. If this happens then it would hit both the parties hard and the main purpose of the alliance is not served.
