Will TDP make the mistake of not supporting Jana Sena?

Many have been questioning as to why the Jana Sena is contesting from Telangana? There are doubts as the party does not have much presence in Telangana. But those in the know say that Modi-Shah duo has deliberately made Jana Sena contest from eight seats in Telangana, including Kukatpally assembly constituency.

BJP insiders say that the party wants to expose the TDP, which is yearning for an alliance with the Jana Sena in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh. The TDP votes in Telangana may not fall into the kitty of the jana Sena this time. The TDP backers, especially those from the Kamma community, are all set to side with the Congress this time.

If this happens, Pawan Kalyan and the Jana Sena, which are hopeful of support from the TDP in Telagnana, would realise that the TDP backstabbed them.

This could help the Jana Sena make a decision on extending support to the TDP in Andhra Pradesh. If the Kammas and the TDP supporters in Telangana do not support the Jana Sena, why should the latter support the TDP in Andhra Pradesh? This could actually help in breaking the alliance between the TDP and the Jana Sena

The BJP can thus expose the TDP and ensure that there is no alliance between the TDP and the Jana Sena. Without any alliance, the TDP may end up losing the elections in Andhra Pradesh. This could end up finishing off an already weakened TDP in Andhra Pradesh. This void can then be filled by the BJP. Let’s see if the TDP ends up making the mistake of not supporting th e Jana Sena and reap the consequences.
