Not Hard Work This Is Criteria To Get TDP Tickets?

Andhra Pradesh is all set to go for elections in a few states. Both ruling and opposition parties are busy with the preparations. However, the opposition Telugu Desam Party which wants to win the elections for its future looks a few steps behind as far as the preparations are concerned.

Telugu Desam Party is yet to finalize the candidates for elections. It is no wonder to see the delay in the party finalising the candidates given its history. Political observers say that TDP always announces the candidates in delay as various aspects play a role in this.

The same is happening this time too. However, there is a catch this time. The TDP leadership is said to be laying a condition for aspirants to get a ticket for the upcoming elections.

If we have to take anything from the media reports, TDP is reportedly preferring rich candidates over hard-working aspirants. Saying that the upcoming elections are intense and there would be a big fight, the aspirants are reportedly asked if they are ready to spend big amounts.

It is known that the TDP is adamant about banking high on the negative image of the ruling YCP. We can see this by looking at the recent meetings held by the Telugu Desam Party and its ally Janasena led by Pawan Kalyan.

But that would not be sufficient in the elections to come to power. Citing the same as reason, TDP is reportedly asking the aspirants if they can spend money in big numbers in tune with the ruling party leaders.

Usually, the party leadership goes for hard-working candidates and leaders who have a good image among the people. However, the TDP leadership appears to be in a different mode and is looking for candidates who are financially sound to spend money.
