TDP’s Suggestions To BJP On Seat Exchanges?

We got a clear picture of the alliance for the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh. BJP joined TDP and Janasena to form a strong force. Earlier there was a big suspense on whether BJP would be a part of the alliance or not. But BJP gave its nod to this and the three parties got their seats as part of the allotment.

However, the seat sharing resulted in the parties facing issues as the aspirants missed tickets. The constituencies in which they worked for years were given to others much to their shock. The leaders are either joining other parties or turning rebels.

TDP is not different from the situation. There are a few seats where TDP is having a tough time with the internal fights. Undi is one of the seats. When the sitting MLA and former MLA were already having a competition for the seat, Raghurama Krishnam Raju came as a twist.

Earlier it was reported that RRR was given Undi seat. Giving a twist the MP gave a new version. He said that he never said he would contest as the MLA from the Undi Assembly constituency.

Amid this, we are hearing that TDP made a few suggestions for seat exchange and the BJP would take a call on this. It is said that a crucial meeting was held the other day to discuss the same.

Big leaders from BJP, TDP, and Janasena attended the crucial meeting. During the same, the TDP made a few suggestions including giving the Anaparthi seat to it and taking Thamballapalle seat in return. The other suggestion is to give the Narasapuram MP seat to Raghu Rama Krishna Raju and taking the Undi seat. These suggestions were made reportedly.

The BJP is likely to take a call on this. By doing so, TDP might be looking at helping Raghu Rama Krishna Raju and putting an end to the Undi controversy.
