TDP To Be Formally Inducted Into NDA Alliance Soon?

The Telugu Desam Party is playing its cards right in restoring the status quo of alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party. TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu is busy meeting the bigwigs in the BJP to get clarity on the alliance. It is said that the talks led to positive outcomes.

If we have to take anything from the media reports then TDP would be formally inducted into the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the party would attend the next NDA meeting as an ally.

The media reports are abuzz that during the talks between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chandrababu Naidu, TDP was invited to the alliance. Given the desperation, TDP is expected to accept the opportunity with both hands.

TDP and BJP have had good ties for a long time. But the status quo changed with the TDP going against the BJP. Ahead of the elections, Chandrababu Naidu took the big decision, surprising one and all. The impact of the decision was such that the BJP leaders including Amit Shah said doors for TDP were closed.

After six long years, the status quo was changed as the BJP is said to have invited TDP into the NDA alliance. Recently it was said that the seat-sharing talks gave a positive outcome and a formal announcement would be announced soon.

Now it is being reported that TDP was invited to the NDA. If this happens then it would be a big breakthrough in the alliance episode. Before the Andhra Pradesh elections, we would get clarity on three parties joining hands for the alliance.
