TS Polls: Majority Exit Polls See Congress Winning!

The much-awaited general elections in Telangana started today and concluded just a while ago. All the 119 Assembly constituencies went for the elections. While a few constituencies recorded high vote percentages a few constituencies recorded lower vote percentages. Overall the recent elections recorded less percentage than anticipated.

Elections and surveys go hand in hand. Before the elections, pre-election surveys were conducted by the firms to predict the public mood. As the elections concluded, the exit poll surveys are being released by the concerned firms. Earlier the Election Commission said that the exit polls cannot be released till 5:30 PM.

If we look at the Telangana Exit Polls 2023, the majority of them are in favour of the grand old Congress party. Irrespective of the name, the surveys are in favour of the party while the ruling BRS is in the second position.

As per the C-PAC Exit Polls, Congress would win 65 seats followed by BRS(41), BJP(4), MIM(5), and others(4). TV-CNX exit polls predicted Congress would win 63-79 seats and BRS would get 31-47 seats.

On the other hand, the Chanakya Exit Poll predicted that Congress would get 67-78 seats, BRS(22-31) and BJP(6-9 seats). AARAA firm predicted that Congress would get 58-67 seats and BRS(41-49).
