Congress Now Shifts Its Focus Onto The Guarantees!

The Congress party under the leadership of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee(TPCC) Chief Revanth Reddy went all guns firing in the recent elections. The collective efforts of the leaders paid off with the voters giving a big mandate to the party after a long time.

Another factor played a key role in the Congress party's win. The guarantees the party assured played a vital role. The party leadership and leaders highlighted the six guarantees during the campaign and debates were also held on the topics in TV channels.

Congress formed the government the other day with Revanth Reddy taking oath and assuming the Chief Minister's office. His cabinet Ministers also took oath. After this, the Congress party shifted its focus to the guarantees.

The party is now gearing up to implement two of the guarantees. Tomorrow marks the birthday of Congress's former chief Sonia Gandhi. On the occasion, two guarantees would be implemented. Minister Sridhar Babu who was allotted the Finance Department said that free bus travel and raising the Aarogyasri scheme would start on the 9th of this month.

Free Bus Travel: Just like Karnataka, Congress also promised that women would be offered free travel in the buses. While special cards were given in Karnataka, women in Telangana should just carry Aadhar cards.

Raising Aarogyasri Limit: The Congress party announced that it would increase the limit to Rs 10 lakhs. The current limit of the amount under the scheme is Rs 5 lakhs and the Congress doubled the limit.
