The election is dubbed as a three-faced one with ruling BRS, opposition parties BJP, and Congress taking the elections prestigious. Adding more intensity, a few other parties are also trying their luck.
The Grand old Congress which is confident of winning the election is aiming two things. One is to repeat the Karnataka result in Telangana and the second one is to shock the ruling BRS. The opposition party is said to be busy drawing strategies for this and busy putting best efforts.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Revanth Reddy said that he is ready to take on Chief Minister KCR. He said that he is interested in contesting the Kamareddy seat against the BRS chief.
Not just Revanth Reddy, other leaders are also said to be gearing up to contest from two seats. As per the media reports, Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy who recently joined the Congress again from BJP is also expected to do the same.
If we have to take anything from the reports, Raj Gopal Reddy is likely to contest in the Gajwel seat against KCR. On the other hand, Nalgonda Lok Sabha member Uttam Kumar Reddy is expected to contest against IT Minister KTR in Sircilla. Komatireddy Venkata Reddy is expected to face Telangana Finance Minister Harish Rao in his strong zone Siddipet.
Reports are claiming this and we might get clarity on this one when the final list of candidates list of Congress is released. But many say that we would see such interesting developments and see Congress leaders trying their luck in two seats.
On the other hand, it is said that the decision might have been taken by the Congress party to avenge what the BRS did. In the last elections, a few key leaders in Congress were defeated. It looks like, the grand old party is on the path to taking revenge against the ruling BRS. Let us wait and see what happens.
