Whenever a film gets released the makers are allowed to go for a hike in the prices. The price hike was the need of the hour for the industry which faced a tough time with the Covid outbreak.
As the government changed in the state people had doubts about what would be the future of the film industry. All eyes were on Prabhas starrer Salaar as it is the first biggie to get released after a power shift. Now the government is said to have come up with happy news.
If we have to take anything from the media reports, the Telangana government reportedly gave its nod to increase the ticket prices and in the Nizam region the movie tickets would be quite high. The theatres in Hyderabad might have a big hike in the prices.
Experts are seeing this as an indication from the Congress government to the industry about the lending hand it would give as the BRS government did. Many say that with the decision, the Revanth Reddy-led government is sending indications that it would continue support to the industry.
Earlier today, Dil Raju, Suresh Babu, and others met Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and the bigwigs of the industry might meet Revanth soon. Amid this, the makers were reportedly allowed to go for a hike in ticket prices.
