In an unexpected turn of events, four BRS MLAs met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy the other day. Sunitha Laxma Reddy (Narsapur), Prabhakar Reddy (Dubbak), Mahipal Reddy (Patancheru), and Manik Rao (Zaheerabad) met the Chief Minister at his residence formally. This meeting had created a sensation among the political circles.

The sudden meeting gave birth to a lot of speculations and doubts. Amid the reports of BRS MLAs being in touch with the Congress party, the MLAs met the Chief Minister. With this, the doubts of possible Operation Aakarsh were also raised.

When so much is being talked about the issue, th four MLAs gave a big clarity on the meeting. The MLAs spoke to the media about the meeting and ruled out any possible conspiracy behind this. They said that they met the Chief Minister out of courtesy.

The MLAs said that there is no other reason behind meeting the Chief Minister except to seek support for the address of issues. We met him to seek support in addressing the problems in the constituencies.

The four MLAs said that it is a procedure to meet the Ministers and offices to address the issues in the constituencies. For the same, we met him and we will continue to meet him for a few more times. There is nothing wrong in this, they said.

On the occasion, the MLAs said that there is no question of shifting loyalties and they will continue in the BRS. KCR is our leader and we believe in his leadership. There is no need of any doubt and we met the Chief Minister to seek his support for the issues, they said.

The MLAs also cited the example of Revanth Reddy meeting the Prime Minister and Union Ministers for the state interests and said that how the Chief Minister met them, they met him.
