Telangana Was Formed With My Hunger Strike: KCR

The party leaders have been saying that it was the Congress party that granted the Telangana state and the credit should go to the party. They say that because of Congress top leader Sonia Gandhi, the dream of Telangana state was fulfilled, and if not the dream would have not been fulfilled. However, the BRS leaders are saying that because of Congress the dream became late by ten years. Amid this Telangana Chief Minister KCR made some key comments. He said that Telangana state was supposed to be formed in 2004 but the Congress delayed it.

He said that the state was formed due to his hunger strike. Congress party merged Telangana with Andhra and it crushed the movements. Many people lost their lives with this and they made many sacrifices. KCR urged the voters to look at what the parties did and the characteristics of the contestants. Addressing the Praja Ashirvada Sabha at Aswaraopet, he made these comments.

KCR said that they are treating everyone equally irrespective of religion and caste bias and that is why Telangana is progressing in the development path. When the state was formed there was a power supply issue, but farmers and industries are getting 24 hours of quality current. He stressed that water is supplied to every household under Mission Bhagiratha. Elections come and go. But people should cast their votes thinking about all this. There is no chance of issues in the Dharani portal.

No party got the idea of constructing Sita Rama projecting on the Godavari River. But the BRS government got the idea. He said that the project construction is finished by 70 percent and the BRS government will complete the construction after winning the upcoming elections. Talking about the Congress party leaders' claims to remove the Dharani portal, KCR asked how beneficiaries would get the benefits of Rythu Bandhu and others.
