There is this set of viral videos where we see Telugu origin individuals performing the famous Ganesh Nimarjan procession in the United States. In this video, we see a Telugu Lady performing the final procession of Ganesh Chaturthi at a water body in the state of Missouri in United States.

This incident had immediately triggered environmental kickbacks from the American population has their pointing out that such activities could threaten the environmental factors locally.

There is a narrative that is being carried against the Indian community, saying that these Ganesh idols might have harmful chemicals or toxins that could destroy the water life. This is adding to the existing hate against the Indian community already.

It is perfectly within the right to celebrate the Ganesh ceremony, no matter where we are in this world, but following environmental conditions and related regulations is the most important thing here.
