When people are travelling to the United States for better employment opportunities, their entire focus is expected to be on this particular aspect rather than anything else. But some unexpected activities committed by the Telugu population is landing them in trouble now.

A controversy has erupted in the United States after an Indian tech employee posted a dance video filmed at the World War II Memorial, triggering widespread criticism on social media and leading to his dismissal.

The employee, identified as Madhu Raju, was working with cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks. He reportedly recorded himself dancing at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., a site dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of American soldiers during the Second World War.

After the video was uploaded online, it quickly went viral and drew backlash from several users who felt that filming a dance video at a solemn war memorial was disrespectful. As the criticism intensified, the matter reached the company’s attention.

Responding swiftly to the controversy, Palo Alto Networks announced that the employee was no longer associated with the organization. The company’s action came amid mounting online pressure and debate about appropriate behavior at historically significant locations.

The incident also sparked a broader discussion on social media. Amid the debate, another user shared a separate experience from a job interview.

According to his post, during an interview with a well known company, the HR representative asked about his native state. After he mentioned Tamil Nadu, he was reportedly told that the firm preferred candidates from Tamil Nadu or Kerala and was avoiding applicants from Andhra Pradesh due to concerns about interview malpractice among some Telugu candidates.
